Studio J Art Gallery
My goal for creating art is to bring life to works by using a collection of stories within a story. My goal for creating art is to bring life by using a variety of resources and materials to create bodies of work based on personal, social, and historical experiences. Each individual story brings the importance of history, the power of voice, and the power of beauty that impacts the power of purpose.
My work is executed in multiple media, including paint, mixed media, installation, sound, lighting, and sculpture. I allow the story to dictate the media that best tells it. My work always begins in 2D and then ventures out of 3D.
